Science Unit test of 20 marks was conducted on the topic 'Is matter around us pure' for class IX. The entire topic was taught to the students and extra classes were taken for the weak students. The students overall performance in the test was good. After the test, analysis was done and different graphs were plotted to show the performance.
The questions of the test paper varied from objective to long answers and ranged from easy to difficult. The entire lesson was divided into 2 credited and 6 audited lessons. Revision of all the topics was also done prior to the test. Due care was taken to make sure that all the students understood all the concepts.
The question paper and the blue print was checked by the subject teacher and the test was administered under her supervision for one hour.
